During my day job, I work on decision support systems. My first stab at this was a system called CHICA, or the Child Health Improvement through Computer Automation System. Here is a quick overview poster which describes how the system works.
Not that anyone should care about this blog, but I am a pediatrician who builds “clinician focused” health IT solutions around a well established infrastructure at the Regenstrief Institute. I’m also not bashful about sharing my interests and passions, so maybe this blog might have other random musings as well. This is more an experiment to see if blogging is a useful way to blow spare work cycles.
